Issues of Dir`s to be resolved on permanent grounds: Muzaffar

Peshawar(PR):KP Finance Minister Muzaffar Said Advocate has paid tribute to the people of Dir on their political consciousness and maturity, saying that we had to cope with more challenges in the current critical situation and thus win Pakistan’s war of its internal and external stability. He assured that the problems and issues of the people of Dir will be resolved on permanent grounds wherein their elected representatives were sparing no efforts for the purpose.
He was talking to 50-member delegation of the Nazims and elders of upper Dir belonging to its far flung areas of Sheringal, Doug Darra, Sawni, Gawaldi and adjacent UCs that met him with MPA Mohammad Ali as head at his office Civil Secretariat Peshawar and apprised him of their issues and demands mostly relating to release of required funds for development schemes and launching mega projects as well as thanked him for his assistance to arrange meet Chief Minister Pervez Khattak with Dir delegation and divide Sheringal Sub Division into two parts, and giving Sheringal tehsil status. It is worth mentioning that Chief Minister had announced the status of Tehsil to Sheringal two years ago, however, notification was not issued due to some unavoidable reasons whereas CM assured the release of sheringal Tehsil notifications in twenty days.
Muzaffar Said Advocate said that we as elected assembly members were fully aware of our duties and also working on an emergency plan for energy generation projects to get rid of loadshedding for good. He said we have made binding all departments and officials to optimize their duties and uproot corruption from govt machinery or be prepared for punishment. He said peace and order has been brought back in the province. The registration of the FIR in the police stations has been improving and even online FIR system ??launched. DPO, SHO and other police officers would not be deployed in their native territories. A police officer will stay not more than two years in a particular area and not to be deployed in the same police station again. Similarly cameras are being installed in all police stations and Patwar offices of the province in the next phase.
He said the performance of schools, colleges, hospitals and dispensaries is also being improved considerably. Unload fees or other taxes will not be received on the roads and if anyone will do it for their personal gains will be exemplary punished, he said and added that taking under-table commissions on govt schemes has been made impossible for govt officials and all sort of mafia is effectively discouraged that speaks loud of the good governance of present coalition KP govt, he concluded.
