‘SIC is illegal’
KARACHI
Constitutional petition has been filed in Sindh High Court (SHC) against Sunni Ittehad Council (SIC) The petitioner has taken the plea that SIC is not parliamentary party. The alliance of independent candidates with SIC is illegal and unconstitutional. It was further said in the petition no elected member can join non parliamentary party as per constitution. Joining SIC by PTI independent candidates be declared unconstitutional. Justice Zulfiqar Ahmad remarked you should prove first of all that SIC IS not parliamentary party. More documents be attached with your petition on next hearing.
The court adjourned hearing of the case for four weeks.
