LAHORE: Lahore High Court (LHC) has ordered to permanently seal the shops of those involved in selling meat of dead hens. Justice Shahid Karim of LHC issued order in connection with previous hearing of petitions filed by a citizen Haroon Farooq and others seeking court’s order for eradication of smog in the province. It was said in the court’s order as per report of Punjab Food Authority dead hens in larger quantity were destroyed in Tollinton Market. Its waste is disposed of where, this matter be investigated and report thereof be presented. Report regarding cleanliness in Tollinton Market be presented. The court said in written order the Parks and Horticulture Authority (PHA) should file report about maintenance of government parks in collaboration with the local committees. Our Correspondent
