Poor state of law and order in provincial capital alarming, says citizens

Over 288 people were murdered in the first six months of ongoing year, said a report complied by the capital city police.
The continuous killing of people postulates that family disputes in Peshawar have increased as compared to past years and wave of crimes continue with no end in sight.
The During the first 6 months of this year, 288 people, including women and children, were brutally killed in Peshawar over land and other disputes.
With 1818 incidents of crimes, Khazana Chamkani was second with 1818 incidents, while earlier it was at third place with 170 incidents.
The Dispute Resolution Councils (DRCs) also failed to control the continuous rise of killing incidence in different localities of Peshawar district.
According to the data, 3 people were killed in the eastern limits of Pandu, 11 Paharipura, 7, Kotwali, 1, Hashtangri, 3, Shah Qobol, 1, Khan Raziq Shaheed, 1 Matni, 9 Urmar ,12 Inqelab ,15 Rehman Baba 10 Regi ,10 Mathra 61 Shahpur, 15 Tehkal , 7 TaTara, 1 Sarband ,12 Gharbi ,1 Gulbarg, 1 Hayatabad, 1 Gulbahar ,7 in Bhana Mani 4 in Faqirabad, 11 Daudzai, 15 in Nasir Bagh, 3 in Regi Model Town, 2 in Regi, 10 in and 10 people were killed in Machni gate.
Five incidents of killing reported in limits of Chamkani police station while five in Tehkal and 4466 cases reported in Pastakhara police station limits, report added.
