MARDAN
A large number of protestors including elders of the areas Ulemas, scholars and people from different walks of life Sunday staged a big protest demonstration against transgender people spreading obscenity in District Mardan.
The residents of Mardan’s urban area of Bagdada formed a Grand Alliance Jirga against the increasing activities of transgender and prostitution, the young generation is being destroyed due to the immoral activities of transgender.
Before the protest demonstration an emergency meeting was held in the main room of Bagdada under the Chairmanship of former Nazim Alhaji Muhammad Humayun Khalji. Addressing the meeting, Madrasa Qari Muhammad Tahir of Masjid Qaba, Mofid Khan of Awami National Party, Haji Karam of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf and Nazim Mufti Irfan Uddin of Baghdad said that due to some anti-social elements, the youth of Baghdad and all the adjacent areas were destroyed due to rapidly increases immoral activities of the transgender.
In the evening, the eunuchs invite the common people to sin. The eunuchs are destroying the morals of the youth. Non-local eunuchs should be expelled from the district immediately as we should not be forced to do violence, the speakers in their speeches said.
Every night without marriage such immoral activities continued without any check and young people of Mardan district hold parties which is totally wrong. They are promoting behavior and filth. We have tried many times to explain to the local elements promoting these events but in spite of this it has not reduced, the speakers of the areas said in their speeches.
We have formed this Grand Alliance Jirga to root out this filth. In order to set up a solid strategy against these absurd dance songs of eunuchs in New Baghdad every day, the speakers warned all eunuchs in Mardan and its surrounding areas that they should not turn to Bagdada in the future.
On this occasion, a resolution was presented by the former moderator Haji Muhammad Humayun Khalji, Qari Muhammad Tahir, Ubaidullah, Haji Karam, Mufid Khan and Mufti Irfanuddin, in which it was decided that obscenity and nudity will be allowed in Baghdada area in the future. No such event will be tolerated and we will take all legal and constitutional steps against such elements.
