PESHAWAR: Judicial Magistrate Peshawar acquitted Monday 140 workers of PTI who were nominated in the case for staging rally before the election. The court order said PTI workers staged rally and blocked Ring road. The accused were neither arrested from the scene nor were the evidence found against them. The court said in the order the local population also not lodged any complaint with police against blocking of road. According to record no arson or siege took place. The order said it is evident from record that the accused were staging peaceful demonstration. Online
