PESHAWAR: Deputy Commissioner Federal Board of Revenue Riaz Ahmed Khan paid a special visit to Ittla Cell of the Information Department, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa on Friday. During the visit, he was given a detailed briefing by Assistant Director Information Riaz Ghafur on media monitoring procedure, documentation and its overall effectiveness. On this occasion, lecturer Arshad Khan, was also present. While briefing the concerned officials, Assistant Director Riaz Ghafur informed that currently more than two dozen TV channels are being monitored in the Ittla Cell in which the content related to Khyber Pakhtunkhwa is filtered and sent to the relevant departments for further processing so that to play the role of liaison between the people and the government.
