Police claimed to have solved a blind murder case and arrested two accused of the case including the wife of the victim at the premises of Gulberg Police Station.
According to police, the murder case was solved on the special instructions of CCPO Peshawar Qasim Ali Khan. Police said that the blind murder case of young person Saqib was solved after a comprehensive investigation and arrested two suspects including the wife of the deceased.
Police said that the victim the victim wife and Naeem, who involved in the killing of Saqib, are close relatives. The wife of Saqib and Naeem made a plan to kill Saqib as they were having illicit relations and decided to kill Saqib.
Police followed the case as soon as it was reported and initiated a comprehensive investigation including collection of information form various aspects.
Accordingly, a case was registered and investigation was started on various aspects, while expanding the scope of the investigation on modern scientific lines, the mobile data of the victim’s wife was also obtained, taking into account her repeated contradictory statements.
The weapon used in the attack was also recovered, further investigation is going on with the accused, similarly the accused has been transferred to the Woman Police Station for further action.
