UBG to win FPCCI elections for the third time: Iftikhar

ISLAMABAD(PR) :Chairman of the United Business Group (UBG) of FPCCI Iftikhar Ali Malik on Tuesday said his group will win the elections of the Apex chamber for the third time. Opponents have failed to lure voters which continue to disappoint them since last two elections, he said.
Businessmen Panel has been rejected twice in the FPCCI elections and they have realised their defeat in the upcoming election which has frustrated them, he said.
Talking to SVP FPCCI and Chairman UBG South Zone Khalid Tawab, Secretary General UBG Zubair Tufail, VP FPCCI Rahman Aziz, Chairman Coordination FPCCI Malik Sohail and others, he said that opponent of UBG has a long history of corruption and there in nothing on their credit which can be used to attract voters.
Iftikhar Ali Malik said that now the BMP has started maligning UBG leaders for the sake of cheap popularity. He said that voters would consider services of the leaders of business community and misleading news in some papers would not help rejected elements alter opinion of voters.
The business community across the stretch of country are aware the services of UBG and they know the past of opponents, he said.
Iftikhar Ali Malik said that Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif has put country on path of prosperity and we will continue to cooperate with the government for the greater good.
At the occasion, Khalid Tawab said that he is among the founders of UBG and news regarding his intentions to join BMP are misleading and unfounded. He said that some elements are not happy with the services of UBG and that some of those who left the group have initiated contact for their return which will be a shock for BMP.
He said that elections will seal the fate of conspirators who have always preferred personal welfare in the name of promotion of interests of the business community.
