The stage is set for the much-awaited Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Inter-Division Pakistan Global Taekwondo Championship, scheduled to commence on September 21st at the Hayatabad Sports Complex in Peshawar.
The championship, jointly organized by the Pakistan Global Taekwondo Federation (PGTF) and the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Global Taekwondo Association, is anticipated to be a high-octane event that will bring together top Taekwondo talent from across the province.
This championship holds great significance for the province’s Taekwondo community as it provides an excellent platform for emerging athletes to showcase their abilities on a larger stage. Masoud Afridi, Secretary of the Pakistan Global Taekwondo Federation and an international Global Taekwondo player, has expressed his optimism about the success of the event. “All divisional Global Taekwondo associations have assured their active participation, and we are confident that the championship will be a resounding success,” Masoud Afridi remarked. He further emphasized that the event aims to foster a competitive spirit among the athletes while identifying potential talent for future national and international competitions.
