ISLAMABAD: PTI has challenged the decision regarding formation of Punjab Election Tribunals (PETs) in Supreme Court (SC). Election Commission (EC) and others have been made respondents in the petition. PTI leader Suleman Akram Raja has filed review petition on September 30 decision of SC. September 30 decision of SC be reviewed. Meeting between Chief Election Commissioner (CEC) and Chief Justice Lahore High Court (CJLHC) can not become reason for change of Election tribunals. Who will be judge of Election Tribunal , this power rests with Chief Justice. LHC registrar notified 6 election tribunals on April 4. Names of serving judges for election tribunals were returned following the meeting between CJLHC and chief election commissioner. ONLINE
