85 students of INU donated blood for Thalassemia patients

Hamza Foundation Welfare Thalassemia Center and Blood Transfusion Services Peshawar has arranged one day Blood Donation camp at Iqra National University ( INU) Peshawar ,with the help and support of Obaid ur Rehman, Chancellor and Blood in charge Dr Adil Adnan, Director Social Welfare of the said University.
On this occasion Resource Mobilization officers of Hamza Foundation Mr. Ateeq ur Rehman and Mr. Ibrarullah jan delivered lectures to the Students and worthy teaching staff of the said University about different welfare activities of the organization, especially free of cost treatment providing to 1504 registered poor and underprivileged Thalassemia, Hemophilia patients of Hamza Foundation and they also delivered motivational speech to the students about the importance of Blood donation. It was a very successful blood donation camp . 85 healthy volunteer students after a medical check up by medical officer, Dr. Kashmala Shah of Hamza Foundation, donated their blood for saving precious lives of 1504 registered poor and underprivileged Thalassemia , Hemophilia kids and other blood disorder disease patients of Hamza Foundation. It is worth mentioning that in Pakistan out of the total blood collection, 70pc of blood is utilized for saving the lives of Thalassemia patients and the remaining 30pc of blood is utilized during other surgeries.
Founder Chairman of Hamza Foundation and Central Executive Member of Thalassemia Federation of Pakistan, Mr. Ijaz Ali khan highly appreciated the cooperation and support of the Chancellor , Blood In charge,teaching staff and also the dedication and spirit of the Students blood Donors. On this special occasion, RMOs of Hamza Foundation presented a shield of HF to the Chancellor, Director Social Welfare and distributed appreciation certificates among the students of INU.
Founder Chairman Hamza Foundation Mr. Ijaz ali khan also thanked the entire management of the University for the arrangements of such a Successful blood donation camp for the ailing humanity of KP.
