LAHORE: Former Chief Minister (CM) Punjab Chaudhry Pervaiz Elahi and other accused persons could not be indicted in illegal appointments in Punjab Assembly (PA) case Wednesday. Judge Sardar Muhammad Iqbal Dogar of Anti Corruption court Lahore took up the case of illegal appointments in Punjab Assembly (PA) for hearing Wednesday. Exemption from attendance plea was filed by Pervaiz Elahi. It was said in the petition filed in the court Pervaiz Elahi is unwell. His ribs were broken as he had fallen in the jail. He could not recover fully. Doctors have advised him to take rest. The court was requested in the petition to accept one day exemption plea of Pervaiz Elahi. The court accepted one day exemption plea of former chief minister Punjab. Pervaiz Elahi and other accused persons could not be indicted. The court adjourned the hearing of the case till December 11.
