KP govt approves compensation package for Bannu Aman Pasoon victims

PESHAWAR: The government of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa has announced a relief financial package for the victims of the Bannu Aman Pasoon incident, which includes compensation for those killed and injured. A total of Rs38 million have been allocated for the victims, said an official statement. Provincial Minister Pakhtun Yar Khan expressed gratitude towards the Chief Minister Ali Amin Gandapur, for approving the relief funds and ensuring the release of the package. He reiterated his earlier statement that the aid would be provided to the victims’ families and the injured, and emphasized that the provincial government is committed to fairness and justice. Pakhtun Yar Khan further assured that the government’s efforts would focus on restoring peace and promoting the welfare of the people, with development initiatives in Bannu expected to begin soon.
