Sara Rehman urges parents to cooperate with polio teams

D.I KHAN: Deputy Commissioner (DC) of Dera Ismail Khan, Ms. Sara Rehman, has announced that an anti-polio campaign will commence across Dera Ismail Khan from Monday, December 16. During this campaign, all children under the age of five will be administered polio drops. The Deputy Commissioner urged the public to cooperate fully with polio teams to ensure the complete eradication of this dangerous disease. Expressing concern, she stated that eight new polio cases have recently been reported in Dera Ismail Khan, which is an alarming situation. Ms. Sara Rehman further stated that the government is taking all necessary measures to make the anti-polio campaign a success, but its success depends heavily on public support. She emphasized that parents must ensure their children receive the polio vaccine to secure their health. She also remarked that eliminating polio is not just the government’s responsibility but a collective duty of every citizen. DLP Report
