Awami National Party (ANP) Central President Aimal Wali Khan paid tribute to Shaheed Bashir Ahmed Bilour on the 12th death anniversary, emphasizing his legacy as a symbol of bravery and dedication to the Pakhtun nation.
Aimal Wali Khan highlighted Shaheed Bilour’s courageous fight against terrorism, noting that his struggle continues to serve as an inspiration for the people of the region.
The late leader, he said, demonstrated that the followers of Bacha Khan would never bow to terror, and his sacrifices for peace in Pakhtun lands would be remembered in history.
Reflecting on the current situation, Aimal Wali Khan expressed concern over the ongoing insecurity in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, lamenting the failure of both the provincial and central governments to effectively combat terrorism.
He criticized the political infighting among the rulers, pointing out that the safety and peace of the people were not their priorities.
The ANP leader stated that the blood of the Pakhtun people continues to be spilled while terrorists and their supporters remain free.
He condemned the government’s indifference to the plight of the people, calling it an insult to their suffering.
Aimal Wali Khan stated the ANP’s commitment to the legacy of martyrs like Shaheed Bashir Bilour. He promised that the party’s struggle against terrorism would continue, aiming to fulfill the vision of peace for the region.
