Police busted seven criminal gangs, solve blind murder case

Police on Monday claimed to have busted seven dangerous criminal gangs involved in various crimes, including street crimes, including street crimes, motor vehicle snatching and lifting.
According to a statement issued here, under the leadership of SP Faqirabad Division Syed Talal Ahmed Shah, the Faqirabad Division Police has been actively working to dismantle organized criminal gangs involved in car lifting, street crimes, and other illegal activities across Peshawar.
The police have executed a series of successful operations aimed at reducing crime and ensuring public safety in the region.
The operations have been carried out under the supervision of SDPO Gulbahar Sajjad Hussain and SDPO Faqirabad Umar Afridi, with key police officers such as SHO Fawad Khan from Gulbahar Police Station, SHO Malang Jan from Faqirabad, SHO Javed Marwat from Paharipura, and SHO Tariq Khan from Phandu Police Station leading the charge.
In recent operations, the Faqirabad Division Police have also uncovered a blind murder case, resulting in the arrest of 26 suspects connected to these gangs.
Police said that among the arrested individuals is Adil, the primary suspect in the murder of Bismillah’s son, who had been killed by an axe.
Adil, a resident of Tohidabad, confessed that he committed the crime in the name of honor.
In addition to the arrests, the police recovered significant stolen property, including seven vehicles (Toyota Hilux, Suzuki Carry Dabba, and other cars), 20 motorcycles, 30 mobile phones, and Rs1.5 million in cash.
Firearms used in the crimes were also seized.
The suspects have confessed to their involvement in several criminal incidents within the jurisdiction of various police stations in Peshawar.
The recovered property, including vehicles, motorcycles, mobile phones, and cash, has been returned to their rightful owners.
