Islamabad:The Interior Minister Ch. Nisar Ali Khan has started implementation on the reshuffle strategy in NADRA at high level and decided to seek clearance of all Director Generals (DGs) of the organization from the country top secret agencies including Inter Services Intelligence (ISI) and Intelligence Bureau (IB).
The minister directed security clearance of all directors general and general managers of Nadra from the country top secret agencies. Credible sources told “Online” that PM and his family members are severely under pressure owing to Panama Leaks and the Interior Minister is going to pave the way for his blue-eyed party leaders for upcoming general elections through reshuffle in NADRA.
“Interior Minister during his recently visit to NADRA headquarter has directed security clearance of all directors general and general managers of Nadra from the country top secret agencies and he thought about the clearance of all DGs when the general elections in country would be held after one and half year”, sources added and maintained that intelligence clearance is sought before appointment on top slots as per law and it is meaningful to seek report from secret agencies after appointments on top slots.
Sources added that Interior Minister has also ordered FIA to conduct inquiry against Deputy Chairman NAB, Imtiaz Tarar. Prior to this, Imtiaz Tarar had also been Chairman NADRA. The Interior Minister has also ordered to apprehend four officials of FIA showing soft corner in inquiry against Imtiaz Tarar on political pressure.
“The objective of Interior Minister’s orders was to create tense situation for acting Chairman NADRA so that he himself resign from the post and he could appoint his blue-eyed Deputy Chairman NADRA Muzaffar Ali on the slot of Chairman”, sources added.
Earlier, the report which NADRA had submitted in the court in Election appeal filed against Defense Minister Khawaja Asif was also well prepared by Deputy Chairman Muzaffar Ali and in the light of this report, the some constraints for Khawaja Asif were ensured.
The Deputy Chairman NADRA has categorically ignored the Chairman Usman Younas while preparing this report and submitted in the court.
According to report, CNIC registered on about 293 counter files are not readable and the members on 293 files were verified through serial numbers. The report added that approximately 60 thousand votes were declared unidentified.
It is a matter of great interest that Interior Minister Chaudhry Nisar Ali Khan and Defense Minister Khawaja Asif are not even talking with each other since long.
Ruling PML-N’s workers think that Interior Minister would be very effective and beneficial in the preparation of electoral rolls through his blue-eyed Deputy Chairman NADRA Muzaffar Ali and this practice would create problems for those party workers and leaders who have difference of opinion with Chaudhry Nisar Ali Khan and facilitate those who favors the opinion of Interior Minister.
The political circles of the country are of the view that PML-N would be succeeded in the upcoming general elections whether supporters of Interior Minister succeed or supporters of PN won the elections. The Interior Minister has intended to initiate more measures regarding reshuffling in NADRA in coming days, sources concluded.
