Advisor to the Chief Minister on information Barrister Mohammad Ali Saif has criticized the Pakistan Muslim League Nawaz (PML-N) senior leadership and Sharif family for failing to launch any social welfare project for the people of Punjab, accusing them of misusing public funds and undermining the welfare of the people.
In a press statement, KP government spokesperson Barrister stated that the Sharif family was so preoccupied with Imran Khan that they even dreamed about him, alleging that Punjab’s public money was being transferred to London instead of being spent on the people.
In contrast, Mr Saif praised the leadership of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa’s Chief Minister, Ali Amin Gandapur, claiming that the province had become the first in Pakistan to pay off its debt.
He accused the PML-N-led government at the center of borrowing an unprecedented loan from an international lender in just 20 days of November, an amount equivalent to the total debt accumulated by Khyber Pakhtunkhwa over 77 years.
The advisor continued to accuse the Sharif family of drowning the country in debt while building lavish properties abroad.
He criticized Maryam Nawaz, Chief Minister Punjab for her alleged disregard for the people’s suffering, citing her tour of Switzerland while the people of Lahore struggled with smog.
He also expressed concerns over the rising corruption and lawlessness, accusing the federal government of promoting both.
Mr Saif also took aim at Maryam Nawaz, referring to her as a “Nepo Baby” and suggesting that instead of trying to emulate Imran Khan, she should focus on addressing public issues.
He further claimed that the Sharif family’s alleged involvement in money laundering was well-known and that the only way for the country to prosper was to rid itself of their influence.
He stated that the safety and future of the country and its people lay in freeing the nation from the Sharif family’s control.
