A prestigious graduation ceremony was held at Jamia Junaidia Ghafooria, Gul Wali, Walikhel, to honor the graduates of Jamia Junaidia Ghafooria Karkhanon Madressa.
The event saw a large gathering of local Naat reciters, scholars, students and community members.
Addressing the gathering, former Federal Minister for Religious Affairs, Pir Noor-ul-Haq Qadri, emphasized the importance of knowledge, describing it as a light that scholars are responsible for spreading.
He expressed gratitude for the vision of his father, whose efforts are now bearing fruit in the form of these scholars. He praised Jamia Junaidia Ghafooria for promoting peace, brotherhood and unity, urging the graduates to uphold these values for collective success.
Pir Noor-ul-Haq Qadri also highlighted the challenges faced by scholars due to adversaries, but he noted that, by the grace of Allah, the institution continues to flourish, producing hundreds of graduates each year.
The ceremony included speeches by Mufti Ikramullah Junedi, Mufti Ismat-ur-Rehman, Mufti Majeedullah Junedi, Mufti Noor-ud-Din Junedi, Maulana Taj Ali Shah Qadri, Shahidullah, and Imtiaz Ali.
The event concluded with the traditional Dastarbandi (turban-tying) ceremony, where the newly graduated scholars were honored by their mentors and peers.
