filing of declaration
ISLAMABAD
Election Commission (EC) has restored the membership of 5 more members of parliament following filing of declaration by them.
The membership of senator Abdul Quddus, one each member of Punjab and Sindh assemblies and two members from KP assembly has been restored.
EC has issued notification of the members whose membership has been restored. It is pertinent to mention here that EC had suspended membership of 139 members of parliament for not filing declaration.
The membership was suspended for not filing declaration for the financial year 2023-24.
