MoU signed for 5th PNQAHE international conference

ISLAMABAD: A Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) was signed between the Pakistan Network of Quality Assurance in Higher Education and Forman Christian College University (FCCU) Lahore at the Higher Education Commission (HEC) Secretariat, Islamabad. Under this agreement, FCCU will host the 5th Pankahi International Conference and Annual General Meeting from April 14 to 16, in collaboration with HEC and Khyber Medical University (KMU) Peshawar. HEC Chairman Prof. Dr. Mukhtar Ahmed, while addressing the ceremony, emphasized the importance of aligning Pakistan’s education system with international standards. He praised KMU Vice Chancellor Prof. Dr. Zia-ul-Haq and Dr. Asia Bukhari for their efforts in establishing Pankahi, which now serves as the Pakistan chapter of International Network for Quality Assurance Agencies in Higher Education. Pankahi President Dr. Zia-ul-Haq highlighted that the first international conference in 2017 identified the need for a platform focusing on quality assurance in universities. DLP Report
FCCU Rector Dr. Jonathan S. Adelton stated that the conference sub-themes would align with global quality assurance principles and provide an excellent platform for academic and industry stakeholders.
The event was attended by HEC Member IT and Acting Executive Director Dr. Jameel Ahmed, PAFIAST Rector Dr. Muhammad Mujahid, QAA Representative Muhammad Raza, Wajid Salim, Dr. Pir Qasim Shah, NUMS Consultant Muhammad Ismail, Dr. Fawad Sadiq (Rafah University), Dr. Iftikhar (Iqra University), and other officials.
