ISLAMABAD: Acting Chief Justice (CJ) of Islamabad High Court (IHC) Sarfraz Dogar while refusing to hear Al-Qadir University petition has remarked how this petition is maintainable after announcement of decision. Punishments have been awarded, Trust has been confiscated and it has gone into the custody of government. It is confiscated. There is nothing in this case now. He gave these remarks during hearing of application for registration of Al-Qadir Trust university under charity act. Jahanzeb Sukhera, counsel for Al-Qadir Trust University appeared in the court. The court remarked punishments have been awarded in Al-Qadir Trust case. Trust has been confiscated. Trust has gone into custody of Punjab government. It stands confiscated. There is nothing in this case now. Acting chief justice Sarfraz Dogar remarked appeals against trial court decision have not been fixed. This petition cannot be heard unless trial court decision is nullified. On inquiring from court, counsel Jahanzeb Sukhera told the court this petition has been filed by Al-Qadir Trust university. Petitions other than this are pending hearing in IHC. Give me time so that I may seek assistance from my client. Justice Sarfraz Dogar said you have to tell how this petition is maintainable after the decision of trial court has come. Later the court while giving time adjourned the hearing for one month.
