Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Chief Minister Ali Amin Khan Gandapur has extended heartfelt congratulations to the newly elected leadership of the Pakistan Federal Union of Journalists (PFUJ), including President Rana Muhammad Azeem, Secretary General Shakeel Ahmed, Secretary Finance Shahr Bano, Secretary Information Ehteshamul Haq, and other office bearers for their victory in the 2025-27 elections.
In his message, CM Gandapur expressed confidence that the new leadership will play a vital role in promoting press freedom, safeguarding journalists’ rights, and ensuring their welfare. He emphasized that free and responsible journalism is essential for democratic stability in Pakistan and hoped the PFUJ leadership would work towards enhancing journalistic standards in the country.
The chief minister also wished them success in their endeavors and prayed for their guidance in fulfilling their responsibilities effectively.
