Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Information Advisor Barrister Muhammad Ali Saif has urged political and religious circles to set aside differences and unite against terrorism, emphasizing that the fight was not against any individual or party but against elements seeking to destroy faith, institutions, and peace.
Following the suicide attack on Jamia Darul Uloom Haqqania Akora Khattak, which claimed several lives, including Maulana Hamidul Haq, Barrister Saif visited the seminary, addressing scholars, students, and community members.
Expressing deep sorrow, he described Maulana Hamidul Haq as a dear friend and brother, condemning the attack as an assault on Islam and unity.
He stressed that terrorists aim to spread fear and division but urged the nation to stand firm with faith, solidarity, and courage.
Representing the Chief Minister of KP, he assured that the government is committed to bringing the culprits to justice, with law enforcement agencies directed to conduct an immediate investigation.
Reaffirming his grief over the tragedy, Barrister Saif said, “Life is unpredictable, and death is an irrevocable reality. But as humans, we feel deep sorrow when we lose loved ones.”
The provincial government has vowed to take all necessary measures to combat terrorism and ensure security across the region, he said.
