KP law minister attends Kuli Katchery of special persons in Kohat

District administration Kohat has under the Chief Minister Khyber Pakhtunkhwa’s Program “Awami Agenda” held a Kuli Katchery for the special persons in Tehsil Gumbat today.
Minister Khyber Pakhtunkhwa on Law and Parliamentary Affairs Aftab Alam Advocate and Chairman Tehsil Gumbat Sajid Iqbal specially participated as special guests while it was chaired by the Deputy Commissioner Kohat Abdul Akram Chitrali. The Katchery, besides the officers of the District Administration, Police and Line Departments, was also attended by the Special Persons in large number.
Special Persons, on this occasion presented their problems and demands including obtaining of disability certificate, setting up of a separate counter in NADRA office, registration of special persons in the income support program and technical vocational centers, implementation on job quota and other issues.
Law Minister, Chairman Gumbat and DC Kohat listened to their problems patiently and issued necessary directions to the quarters concerned to its early resolution.
Addressing the participants, the Law Minister, Chairman Gumbat, and Deputy Commissioner Kohat said that the provincial government is trying its level best to enable special people to live a dignified life in the society and provide them with all possible facilities. Similarly, measures will be taken to ensure implementation of the job quota of the special persons and give them stipend through the Social Welfare Department, they continued.
They added, beside upgrading the school for special people, the special people will also be given free treatment in the district hospital. They also assured technical training to the special persons with the support of NGOs.
The participants thanked the Law Minister, Chairman Tehsil Gumbat and Deputy Commissioner Kohat for holding Kuli Katchery and taking personal interest in solving their problems on priority basis.
