Acting chairman of PTB meets farmers affected by Burnt Barns

The Acting Chairman of the Pakistan Tobacco Board (PTB), Fakhruddin Khan, held an important meeting with tobacco farmers affected by burnt barns at the Tobacco Research Station in Mardan.
During the visit, Mr. Fakhruddin Khan distributed financial aid checks of Rs75,000 and Rs60,000 each to 171 tobacco farmers from the districts of Mardan, Swabi, and Charsadda under the SOL (burnt barns) relief initiative.
The event was attended by representatives of farmer organizations, including Liaqat Yousafzai, Rizwanullah Khan Akbar, and former provincial minister Fazal Rabbani, along with other respected farmers.
Also present were PTB’s Farm Manager Muhammad Adeel, Chemist Kamran Khan, ADO Hamad Khan, and other officials.
Speaking at the occasion, Mr. Fakhruddin Khan assured the farmers that they would receive enhanced support in research and marketing to boost their production and income. He reiterated the PTB’s commitment to facilitating farmers and ensuring their financial stability.
