LAHORE): Chief Justice Lahore High Court (LHC) Aalia Neelum has said state of the art ladies bar rooms will be constructed in all the districts of Punjab.
Bar Associations of different Tehsils and districts of Punjab met CJ LHC here Saturday.
Talking on the occasion, CJ LHC said it is necessary for the improvement in judicial system that problems facing the bar associations in backward and remote areas be addressed on priority basis.
Providing safe and respectable environment to female lawyers is among the top priorities of judiciary. Security of lady lawyers is very important for us. Not a single moment will be compromised on this count.
The process of constructing day care centers and bar rooms for lady lawyers has been begun with the cooperation of Punjab government.
She said state of the art ladies bar rooms are under construction in 8 tehsils and districts in Punjab at present which will soon be completed.
Construction of ladies bar rooms has been started from back ward and remote districts and tehsils.
Ladies bar rooms will be constructed in all the tehsils and districts of Punjab.
Those who met with CJ LHC included president district Bar Association Sahiwal Malik Saeed Ahmad Saghla, president Tehsil Bar association Shuja Abad Rao Shakil Ahmad. president Tehsil Bar association Isa Khel Zafar Iqbal and others.
Registrar LHC Amjid Iqbal Ranjha was also present on the occasion.
