In a remarkable display of generosity and compassion, the Volunteer students of Govt Science Superior College Peshawar donated 51 blood during a blood donation camp at the college with collaboration and help of Dr. Muhammad Ismail Principal and Professor Abdul Rasheed, organized by the Hamza Foundation Welfare Thalassemia Center and Blood Services Peshawar .This noble initiative, which took place at the historical College, was held in collaboration with the volunteer students blood donors.
Medical Director HF, Dr. Tariq khan conducted the Medical Check up of the donors, 11 volunteers were medically unfit after detail check up. 51 healthy volunteer donors donated their blood for saving precious lives of 1516 registered poor Thalassemia and Hemophilia patients kids of Hamza Foundation.
In a heartfelt address to the Students at the College , Dr. Muhammad Ismail and prof. Abdul Rasheed praised the Students Volunteer s’ spirit and commitment to this noble cause, emphasizing the importance of serving humanity. He encouraged the young generation to continue this tradition of altruism, underscoring that every donation could potentially save three lives. The Speakers also acknowledged the tireless welfare efforts of the Hamza Foundation.
Mr. Ijaz Ali Khan, the Founder Chairman of Hamza Foundation, expressed his gratitude to the Organizers of the blood camp, the blood donation team, and the dedicated volunteers. He thanked everyone involved for their contribution to alleviating the suffering of those in need of blood transfusions.
To mark the occasion, Mr. Mubarak Ali RMO and Dr. Faqir Khan of the Hamza Foundation, presented commemorative HF shields to Dr. Muhammad Ismail sahib and Prof. Abdul Rasheed as a token of appreciation for their support and collaboration.
This successful blood donation drive stands as a testament to the deep-rooted spirit of giving blood and its unwavering commitment to humanity.
