Anti-Corruption Establishment Khyber Pakhtunkhwa has taken action against a land mafia illegally occupying state-owned land in Mansehra, successfully reclaiming 2,529 kanal and 8 marla of land valued at over Rs. 1.38 billion and transferring it back to the provincial government.
According to details, Advisor to the Chief Minister on Anti-Corruption, Musaddiq Abbasi, received complaints during Anti-Corruption Kp’s monthly khuli Khachari regarding illegal occupation of government land in Mansehra. Taking immediate notice, Abbasi directed the Special Investigation Wing to probe the matter.
The inquiry revealed collusion between certain revenue department officials and individuals to illegally transfer thousands of kanals of state land into personal ownership.
Following swift intervention by Anti-Corruption KP, the illicit transfers were halted, and 2,529 kanal and 8 marla of land—worth approximately Rs 1.38 billion—were legally reverted to the provincial government through due process
