PESHAWAR
A high-level delegation from the Peshawar Chamber of Commerce and Industry (PCCI) visited the Peshawar Air Base, where they met with Air Commodore Yasir Saleem (Sitara-e-Imtiaz Military) and extended heartfelt congratulations on behalf of the business community for the historic success of Operation Banyan-e-Marsoos.
The delegation was led by Group Leader Malik Mehar Elahi and included President Shakeel Ahmed Khan, Senior Vice President Haji Tala Muhammad, Vice President Zohaib Arif, Former President Salman Elahi Malik, Senior Vice President Haji Waheed Khan, Shahzad Ahmed Siddiqui, and Haji Amjad Khan.
Speaking on the occasion, Malik Mehar Elahi praised the Pakistan Air Force (PAF) for its decisive and courageous action. “Operation Banyan-e-Marsoos is a milestone in safeguarding national sovereignty, peace, and security.
Our brave airmen have once again created history with their valor and commitment, delivering a powerful message to the enemies of Islam and Pakistan,” he said.
Air Commodore Yasir Saleem welcomed the delegation and thanked them for their support. He emphasized the unwavering readiness of PAF personnel to defend the motherland and noted that the appreciation and solidarity of the nation significantly boost the morale of the armed forces.
PCCI President Shakeel Ahmed Khan paid tribute to the professionalism and dedication of Pakistan’s armed forces. He said the business community stands united with the defense forces and will continue to extend all possible support for the security and prosperity of the country.
He also lauded the media’s role in countering misinformation. “During these war-like circumstances, not only did our forces thwart India’s Mission Sindoor with remarkable precision, but our media also effectively countered Indian propaganda on the global stage,” he added.
Special prayers were also offered for the martyrs and for the continued peace, unity, and sovereignty of Pakistan.
