Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) leader and senior lawyer Moazzam Butt Advocate has said that Pakistan’s armed forces are being led by a strong leadership and have already demonstrated their military superiority over India.
Speaking at a press conference at the Peshawar Press Club (PPC) Butt stated, “We have won this battle with India, and the entire nation stands shoulder to shoulder with the Pakistan Army.”
He lauded the Pakistan Air Force for its capabilities, asserting that it has proven its ability to penetrate Indian airspace and strike targets with precision.
The PTI leader emphasized that the Pahalgam incident warrants an impartial investigation, a demand already raised by the Pakistani government.
“India is a perpetual enemy of Pakistan; it can never be our friend. This is just the beginning of a long war, and Pakistan must prepare itself accordingly,” he warned, calling on the nation to unite across political and ideological lines.
Commenting on India’s recent suspension of the Indus Waters Treaty, he expressed concern over the potential impact on Pakistan’s agricultural sector, warning of a looming water crisis. “If India stops water, it will severely affect Pakistan’s agriculture. We will launch awareness programs to educate people about the significance of the Indus Water Treaty,” he announced.
Butt also highlighted the importance of national unity, urging all stakeholders and political parties to come together for the sake of the country. He added that Pakistan has already defeated India diplomatically and should continue to play its cards strategically.
Referring to the 2019 return of the Indian pilot, Butt claimed that the gesture was misinterpreted by India as a sign of weakness. “Until India is given a firm response, they will not back down,” he concluded.
