Rape case
LAHORE: Case has been registered against victim lady on changing her statement in a rape case in Punjab. Under the directives of Chief Minister (CM) and IG Punjab, Layya police have registered case against plaintiff and victim woman in rape case under anti rape act. According to police authorities the affected woman changed her statement in the court in favor of the accused and gave benefit to him by obtaining lacs of rupees from him. The victim Nadia Altaf had got registered rape case against the accused Tanvir through her husband. During the investigation from City police the accused was found guilty. The DNA of the accused was also found positive in medical report. According to DPO Muhammad Ali Wasim “ giving the benefit to the accused by backtracking from her statement by the plaintiff is committing the offence. Further legal action is being initiated against the accused persons. ONLINE
