ISLAMABAD: District court Islamabad has imposed fine of Rs 5000 each on the accused persons for not cross questioning the witnesses by defence lawyers in Nov 26 protest case. The cases registered against PTI workers regarding November 26 protest came up for hearing in district and sessions court Friday. Judicial magistrate Ahmad Shahzad Gondal conducted hearing of the case. The lawyers of the accused could not cross examine the witnesses on Friday. The court imposed fine Rs 5000 each on the accused for not cross questioning the witnesses by their lawyers. The court while adjourning the hearing till today (Saturday) directed defence laywers to cross examine the witnesses. 2 cases are registered against PTI workers in police station Ramna. ONLINE
