May 9 protest case

Anti Terrorism Court (ATC) Islamabad has awarded 10 years punishment each to accused persons including PTI MNA Abdul Latif in the case registered in police station Ramna in connection with May 9 protest.
Judge of ATC Islamabad has remarked there is peaceful way for any protest. You are charged with attacking police stations in Islamabad. If you people attack police stations then the country will not be able to live in.
He gave these remarks during hearing of the case registered in police station Ramna in connection with May 9 protest in ATC Islamabad Friday.
The court announced sentence of 10 years each to 11 accused including PTI MNA Abdul Latif under section 10 of terrorism clauses.
The court awarded 5 years imprisonment each to all the accused on the offence of murder attack on police, 4 years each for torching motorcycle, 3 years each for preventing police from doing their job and one year each for committing offence in the form of band.
The court said to PTI MNA Abdul Latif “ you are charged with attacking police station. Evidences were presented against you. 20 witnesses appeared. Magistrates were also included in witnesses.
