ISLAMABAD: Following strong public reaction , Capital Development Authority (CDA) has restored the old bus fare of Rs 50. According to spokesperson the enhanced fare has been withdrawn immediately under the directives of Prime Minister (PM) Shehbaz Sharif and notification in this effect has been issued. According to press release the notification will be applicable to all bus services including orange line, green line metro bus and electric feeder routes. It is pertinent to mention here the citizens had voiced strong protest over enhancement in fare and the government had to withdraw the decision. Online
