Father-daughter duo among three held in Charsadda house theft

In a major breakthrough, Prang Police have arrested three individuals, including a woman, in connection with a house theft case.
The suspects, among them a father and daughter, were apprehended following a swift and coordinated operation. Police claimed to have recovered 7 tolas of gold, 10 tolas of silver, Rs 1.2 million in cash, and a Kalashnikov allegedly used during the crime.
The incident came to light on June 15, 2025, when a local citizen reported the theft. Acting promptly, District Police Officer (DPO) Charsadda, Suleman Zafar, ordered the formation of a special investigation team headed by SP Investigation Sajjad Khan.
The team included DSP City Zardad Ali Khan, SHO Paang Police Station Ahmed Jan, Additional SHO Cadet Sadiq Shah Khan, CIO Shoaib Khan, and other officers.
Using modern forensic tools and human intelligence, the team successfully traced and arrested the accused.
The individuals taken into custody have been identified as Maqsood, son of Sher Bahadur; his daughter, and another accomplice.
Upon identification, police recovered the stolen gold, silver, and cash along with the weapon used in the crime. Authorities confirmed that further investigation is ongoing to determine if the group is linked to other similar incidents.
