PESHAWAR: The Health Department has sought data related to legal cases concerning government lands and associated financial matters. The department has directed all District Health Officers (DHOs) and Medical Superintendents (MSs) to immediately provide information on court decisions regarding land acquisition, as well as any court-mandated financial obligations against the Health Department. The Health Dept said on Tuesday that an urgent circular has been issued in this regard, emphasizing the legal nature of the issue and instructing that it be addressed on a priority basis. The Health Department has asked all officers concerned to submit details of both concluded court cases and those still pending regarding land acquisition. The circular further stated that the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Board of Revenue has also asked all administrative departments to share data regarding cases where rulings have been made against the provincial government, including the financial implications.
