Mohammad Imad of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa defeated PIA’s Mansoor Zaman 2-0 to win the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Senior Squash Championship. Former champion Qamar Zaman was the chief guest at the closing ceremony, where he distributed prizes among the players.
Earlier, in the first semi-final, Mohammad Imad beat Khyber Pakhtunkhwa’s Harirah, while in the second semi-final, Mansoor Zaman qualified for the final by defeating Abbas Shoukat.
Apart from the winner and runner-up, 32 players participated in the championship, including Saddam-ul-Haq, Abbas Shoukat, Raees Khan, and Zakir.
Mohammad Imad praised Provincial Sports Minister Syed Fakhar Jahan, DG Sports Tashfeen Haider, Squash Federation Secretary Aamir Nawaz, and coaches Tahir Iqbal and Munawar Zaman for organizing the championship.
