CM Gandapur inquires after health of injured soldiers at CMH

PESHAWAR: Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Chief Minister Ali Amin Khan Gandapur visited the Combined Military Hospital (CMH) Peshawar to inquire about the condition of security personnel injured in a recent suicide attack in North Waziristan. The Chief Minister met each injured soldier individually, presented them with bouquets, and conveyed his heartfelt wishes for their swift recovery. He also offered prayers for the elevation of ranks of the personnel martyred in the tragic incident. He was accompanied by the Advisor to the Chief Minister on Information Barrister Mohammad Ali Saif and other officials. Speaking on the occasion, Chief Minister Gandapur lauded the bravery of the martyred and injured personnel, stating that the suicide attack was foiled with remarkable courage by the security forces.
“The sacrifices rendered by our security forces in the fight against terrorism and in establishing peace are eternal,” he said. “I salute the personnel and their families who have laid down their lives for the protection of the country and the nation.”
He reaffirmed that the morale of both the security forces and the people remains high in the face of terrorism and stressed that the entire nation stands united with the armed forces in this struggle.
CM Gandapur announced that the provincial government will extend a generous financial assistance package to the injured and to the families of the martyrs.
