PML-N KP Assembly members hold key meeting ahead of Senate elections

Led by Leader of the Opposition in the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Assembly Dr. Ibadullah Khan, members of the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) held an important consultative meeting with the party’s provincial president and Federal Minister Engineer Amir Muqam, and General Secretary Murtaza Javed Abbasi on Thursday.
Among the attendees were MPAs Sardar Shajahan Yousaf, Muhammad Rashad Khan, Jalal Khan, Malik Tariq Awan, Sobia Shahid, Sheila Bano, Hisham Inamullah, Qari Zahir, along with elected representatives on reserved seats Amna Sardar, Faiza Malik, Afshan Hussain, Shazia Jadoon, Jamila Paracha, Farah Khan, and Suresh Kumar.
Engineer Amir Muqam welcomed the newly elected members and extended heartfelt congratulations, emphasizing that their presence in the Assembly reflects the result of the PML-N’s democratic struggle. He underlined the importance of this moment as an opportunity to further strengthen the party in the province.
The meeting focused on consultations for the upcoming Senate elections. Murtaza Javed Abbasi urged all members to fully support the party’s nominated candidate, asserting that unity and discipline within the ranks are essential for securing victory in the Senate.
Dr. Ibadullah Khan remarked that members elected on reserved seats carry the trust of the party and must fulfill their responsibilities with dedication to public interest and democratic values.
The meeting concluded on a positive and united note, with all participants reaffirming their commitment, loyalty, and full cooperation with the party leadership and future strategy.
