Man kills three of his family members in Karak

At least three members of a same family were killed and two children injured in a firing incident, resulting from a domestic dispute in Surdag area of Karak district, police informed on Sunday.
According to police, the incident took place in the jurisdiction of Lachi police station where reportedly, a man opened fire on his own family members due to ongoing domestic tensions.
The assailant, identified as the brother of one of the victims, fatally shot his brother, sister-in-law, and 12-year-old niece. Two other children were injured during the shooting and were immediately transported to the District Headquarters Hospital in Karak by rescue teams.
Police confirmed that the suspect, who is also the brother-in-law of the deceased woman, acted out of rage stemming from a longstanding family dispute. Police arrived at the scene shortly after the incident and initiated an investigation. Efforts to apprehend the suspect are ongoing, and forensic evidence is being collected from the crime scene.
The deceased have been identified as Nabiullah (37), Ambreen Bibi (30), and Halima Bibi (12). The injured children remain under medical care.
