Scrutiny of nomination papers for women’s reserved seats completed in KP

The scrutiny process for nomination papers of candidates from Khyber Pakhtunkhwa contesting for reserved seats for women in the National Assembly under the Muslim quota has been completed.
Returning Officer Muhammad Farid Afridi reviewed the nomination papers of four candidates: Nargis Ali, Syeda Sonia Hussain, Samar Haroon Bilour, and Saeeda Jamshed. Following the scrutiny, Form 32 was issued.
According to the Returning Officer’s decision, the nomination papers of Samar Haroon Bilour and Saeeda Jamshed were accepted as valid. However, the papers of Nargis Ali and Syeda Sonia Hussain were rejected due to their names not appearing on the respective party’s priority list.
