LAHORE: Further action against suspended Members of Punjab Assembly (PA) from opposition side has been stopped. As per media reports speaker PA has directed assembly secretariat and ruling party members to take no further action against opposition members till result-oriented talks between government and opposition. Sources said the process of recovering fine amount on charges of vandalizing from the salaries of 10 suspended members from opposition side has been stopped. Earlier speaker PA had imposed fine of over Rs 20 lac on suspended opposition members on the charges of vandalizing. Sources said the vote of no confidence move for removing more 9 chairmen of opposition from their positions has been stopped. However 4 chairmen from opposition have already been removed from their posts. Online
