Ten Martyred police families get financial assistance in Khyber

On the direction of the Inspector General Police(IGP)Khyber Pakhtunkhwa(KP) fifty thousand rupees financial assistance was granted to ten heirs of martyred police in Khyber.
In this connection a simple gathering was held in the District Police Officer (DPO) office, Shahkas, Jamrud where Deputy Inspector General (DIG) welfare KP Kashif Mushtaq Kanju gave away cheques to the relatives of the Martyred police.
On the behalf of IGP,KP Zulfiqar Hameed,the DIG welfare also handed over a condolence letter to each of the deceased family in which great homage and respect was paid to the departed soul besides bravery and matchless sacrifice of the Shaheed was written.
Speaking on the occasion DIG, welfare Kashif Mushtaq Kanju said that police Shuhada are their pride and the KP police will never forget the sacrifices of their martyred soldiers.
Wellbeing of the martyred families was their top priority, he added and said under the strict direction of IGP,KP,the police welfare department not only supplies timely financial support to the heirs of Shuhada but also ensures provision of education and health and other basic needs of the martyred police families.
DPO, Khyber Rai Mazhar Iqbal valued sacrifices of Martyred police and said the nation was owed to their families and would grant all the incentives they deserved.
Relatives of the Martyred police thanked the IGP and other police officials for the financial support.
