KP law minister visits proposed interchange site at Dhoda Chowk, Kohat

Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Minister for Law and Parliamentary Affairs, Aftab Alam Advocate, visited the site of the proposed interchange at Dhoda Chowk on the Indus Highway in Kohat. He was accompanied by Deputy Commissioner Kohat, Abdul Akram Chitrali, and relevant officials from the National Highway Authority (NHA). During the visit, the Minister conducted a detailed review of the ongoing work and the challenges currently hindering progress.
The Law Minister instructed the concerned authorities to avoid any further delays and to take immediate and practical measures to ensure the timely completion of the project, keeping in view the convenience of the general public.
Speaking on the occasion, the Minister emphasized that the issues faced by the local population would be addressed on a priority basis to improve travel and transport facilities in the area. He reiterated the commitment of the provincial government to allocate all necessary resources for the timely execution of public welfare projects. He further assured that the Kohat district administration would extend full cooperation to the National Highway Authority at every level to ensure smooth and timely completion of the development work.
Officials from the NHA provided a comprehensive briefing on the current status of the project and outlined the future plan of action. They also assured the Minister of their commitment to ensuring the provision of all possible facilities to the public.
Law Minister also inspected the ongoing construction work on the Dhoda–Shadi Khel Road, which is being developed at a cost of Rs. 100 million. He directed the authorities to expedite the pace of work while maintaining the highest standards of quality and to ensure that the project is completed within the stipulated timeframe.
