Elders assure full cooperation with the police

Bannu: Deputy Inspector General of Police Bannu Region, Sajjad Khan, convened an important jirga today at the DIG Office Bannu with elders of the Marwat Qaumi Jirga.
The purpose of the jirga was to review the overall law and order situation in the area, listen to public concerns, and further strengthen relations with tribal elders. On this occasion, members of the Marwat Qaumi Jirga discussed in detail the challenges faced in their respective areas, including crime, social issues, and security-related matters.
DIG Bannu Sajjad Khan attentively listened to the concerns of the elders and assured them that the police would take every possible measure to provide a safe and peaceful environment for the public. He stated that mutual trust and cooperation between the police and the public is the foundation of lasting peace. Appreciating the role of the elders, the DIG said their cooperation holds a key position in maintaining peace.
The elders also assured their full cooperation with the police.
