SCCI and JBF to work together for rehabilitation of flood-hit people

Sarhad Chamber of Industry and Jamiate Business Forum decided to work together for rehabilitation and resettlement of the flood-affected people of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
The decision was taken during a meeting of Sarhad Chamber of Commerce and Industry President Fazal Moqeem Khan and Senior vice president Abdul Jalil Jan with a delegation of Jamiate Business Forum (JBF) led by its provincial convener Pervez Khan Khattak here at the chamber house, said in a statement here on Sunday.
The Jamiate Business Forum provincial leader Asif Iqbal Daudzai, Dr Masood Gul, Yousaf Khan, Rahim Khan, Qari Ali Raza, Muhammad Ibrahim, Hashim Khan, Haji Saddiq, Dr Waqas Kakakhel, Qaiser Khan and other members were amongst the delegation.
The delegation briefed the SCCI president Fazal Moqeem Khan and Senior vice president Abdul Jalil Jan about ongoing relief activities in flood-affected districts of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, carried out by the Jamiate business forum and its allied welfare organization Ansarul Islam.
Leaders of the Jamiate Business forum appreciated the Businessmen forum leadership and SCCI for their proactive role in the resolution of the business community.
The JBF has always supported the Businessman Forum and vowed to collaborate for flood-affectees, economic growth, prosperity and progress in the province.
The leaders of the JBF urged the SCCI to extend donations to the forum’s allied organization Ansar ul Islam to rehabilitation and resettlement of the flood-affected families.
Fazal Moqeem Khan while speaking on the occasion stated the SCCI has launched a fund-raising campaign and decided to fully contribute toward rehabilitation and resettlement of the flood-hit people after the collection of donations from the business community.
SCCI president praised the Jamiate Business Forum and its organization Ansar ul Islam for proactive and swift relief operation in flood hit areas of the province.
President SCCI Fazal Moqeem assured the full support and all kind of assistance for the forum.
Leaders of the Jamiate Business Forum also extended cooperation and support to the SCCI for collection of donations for the flood-affected people of the province.
