Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Senators Zeeshan Khanzada and Faisal Javed visited PTI’s aid camps in the inundated zones of Buner and visited the families hit by the disaster. On the occasion, Senator Zeeshan Khanzada explained that the extent of harm in Buner was much more than initially projected.
“Not a single house is habitable here now stores, crops, roads, and even vehicles are still underneath rocks. Each and every house has a different tale of destruction,” he added. He praised the patience and resilience of the local people despite such a massive tragedy and assured them of his full cooperation in ongoing rehabilitation efforts.
He further lauded the institutions and individuals assisting flood victims, describing them as “true national heroes.” Both senators also pledged to raise the issue of rehabilitation for the victims at every available forum, including the Senate. They met with the families of those who lost their lives in the floods and prayed for the departed souls.
