Narcotics smuggling through drone
ISLAMABAD: Supreme Court (SC) has rejected bail plea of a person accused in drugs smuggling through drone case. Justice Naeem Akhtar Afghan said drone is used for narcotics smuggling now a days. Narcotics is dropped in the border of India from Pakistan through drone. Influential persons are involved in drugs smuggling. If we grant bail to the accused then he will flee. A two members bench of SC presided over by Justice Hassan Azhar Rizvi took up bail plea of person accused in narcotics smuggling case Wednesday. Counsel for ANF said 10 kilograms heroin and drone were recovered from the accused. One Punjab police man is also involved with the accused. Justice Naeem Akhtar Afghan said the accused wants bail for fear of punishment. The counsel for the accused said if punishment is awarded we will come to court.
